Deadening is permanent. There is no starting over. Which is why there's an entire Facebook group dedicated to doing it right before you commit. I sourced from two suppliers I trusted: Resonix and CTK. Then I waited out winter — deadening bonds best in warm temperatures and I wasn't about to rush the one step you can't undo. When spring arrived every piece went in clean. Not because anyone would ever see it. Because I would know.

Three drivers. Three completely different problems.
The Arc RS 6.0 midbass went in at factory door locations. Sounds Good Stereo block-off plates handled the opening. The RS 3.0 midranges found a home in two unoccupied in-dash locations from a higher Ford trim, sitting empty and waiting. The Arc Audio Black 1.0 tweeters were the fight. Pillars seemed obvious until nothing secure the tweeter. Hot glue failed. Silicone failed. A call to hotmelt.com identified the problem: polypropylene. The answer was SuperTac 500, a industrial hot melt formulated for the job.
