A2B in. SPDIF optical out. No compromises.
The daily source is a PAC FD4-FD31 — A2B to SPDIF optical, full factory features preserved. We worked through bugs and firmware updates together (we all mix up L and R now and then). For competition mode I added a FiiO M21. Which meant another wire — a painful one. RSD Custom Cables replied instantly, shared their trade secrets, and turned out to be judging at SVR.
02Tuning
First tune sounded bad. Miguel fixed it in an hour.
The first tune sounded off. Miguel from Waveform Tuning DM'd me on Facebook, screen-shared, and had a solid baseline going within an hour.
